Traditional Owner Native Foods and Botanicals Strategy Launch

A big thank you to Mary-Anne Thomas MP, the Federation of Victorian Traditional Owner Corporations and our partners from Wulgunggo Ngalu who came along to Forestec today to launch the Traditional Owner Native Foods and Botanicals Strategy.

Traditional Owners have the right to protect our knowledge and this strategy puts Gunaikurnai, and all mobs around the state, back in control of restoring and reclaiming our cultural practices.

It’s also a big step forward for GLaWAC’s Bush to Bowl ambitions. In partnership with Wulgunggo Ngalu, we’re developing a food supply chain to strengthen self-determination and increase the leadership and participation of Aboriginal Victorians in the bush food sector.
