Welcome to another exciting year for Gunaikurnai Land and Waters Aboriginal Corporation (GLaWAC)…since we received Native Title back in 2010 our corporation has grown; we now have 13 staff. This year we plan to employ more Gunaikurnai men and woman through our Natural Resource Enterprise / Joint Management and Registered Aboriginal Party (RAP) teams. The aim is to be strong in all areas especially our culture, and hoping by the end of 2013 we will have several teams working across our land in natural resource management, ie. fence contractors, walking tracks, fire wood, lawn mowing, rubbish removal and working with Cultural Rangers on our Joint Managed land through the Traditional Owner Land Management Board (TOLMB) process…
